St. Paul's Episcopal Church

In March 1993, the church called a new rector, the Rev. Halsey "Chip" Stevens. He served as rector until his retirement on July 31, 2000. Under Father Stevens' leadership, parish visitation and outreach ministries grew and flourished.

In January of 2002, the Rev. William Locke was called from the neighboring Church of the Good Shepherd to be the twelfth rector of St. Paul's. Fr. Locke has brought a focus on liturgy and music, as well as the need for church growth.

All the rectors of St. Paul's have had their own special gifts to guide us on our spiritual journey--Marion Law's sermons, Roberts Seilhammer's travels and lectures, Canon Roebuck's love of children, Bruce Jacobson's promotion of lay involvement in all aspects of parish life, Perrin Radley's interest in music, and "Chip" Stevens' establishment and promotion of visitation and outreach ministries. Altogether, we have had twelve rectors in our one hundred ninety years. They have all been different, but, in his own way, each has led us to fuller, richer lives in Christ.
