At Seabrook United Methodist Church we strive to know and make known the God who lights our world.  We invite you to join us on this adventure.

We strive to know God by listening for God's voice in worship (we have a contemporary service at 9:00 am and a traditional service at 11:15 am on Sundays), in a variety of small group studies and activities, and in opportunities for fellowship.  In the beginning God said "let there be" and there was.  God said "let there be light" and there was light (Genesis 1:3).  God said "let there be land" and there was land (Genesis 1:9).  And God did not stop there.  God called Abraham to set out for a new future (Genesis 12:1).  God called Moses to lead the Hebrews out of bondage (Exodus 3:9).  God called Jesus out of the tomb (John 20:16-17).  God called Paul to be an emissary for God's kingdom (Acts 9:5-6).  God who spoke still speaks and we strive to know what God is saying in this time and place, in this circumstance of life.

We also strive to make known the God who lights our world. It is our holy privilege to provide opportunities for you to respond to God's call through loving and serving the people around you, the people who live in the Seabrook area, and the people who are scattered throughout the world.  We do not just want you to hear the word of God.  We want you to apply it to your life.
