About Us:

Sackets Harbor School -- our academic programs, our school calendar, our Newsletter, our sports programs, our extracurricular activities, and our faculty and staff.

We are a small school of about 500 children K - 12. Our teachers are committed to providing every child with the best education we can give him or her. Our class sizes are small, and we know all of our children. As a faculty we expect the best from our students, and we are proud of their efforts and their accomplishments. Sackets Harbor students perform very well academically, excelling on state assessments. We offer honors courses and advanced placement at the high school level as well as college courses delivered via distance learning. In a typical year at least 95% of our graduating seniors go on to institutions of higher learning.

Our sports teams are always competitive in the Frontier League, and our band, the Sackets Harbor Sentinels, has long been a source of community pride. In addition, we offer a variety of extracurricular activities for all students. Students are involved in community service, peer tutoring, in music and theater, in forensics, and in other clubs and activities. Our students also have the opportunity to travel to England or Italy every other year. Sackets Harbor also has a strong Character Education program.
