Our Mission is to encourage architectural and historical preservation of the downtown area of Poteau through promotion of cultural events and beautification projects in an effort to affect economic revitalization and organization of public resources. 

About Us:

Poteau Main Street Matters dba Historic Downtown Poteau is a 501c3 Charitable Corporation.  Our focus is on revitalizing the downtown district through economic initiatives, cultural events, beautification projects, and business retention/recruiting.  Formed in 2002, we work closely with the City of Poteau and the Poteau Chamber of Commerce to improve the quality of life for both Poteau and surrounding areas.
