Northwest Christian Fellowship was established and founded by Pastor Craig & Marlane Gazaway in the mid 80's; upon his resignation in 2001 Michael Watkins was appointed Senior Pastor along with Jeff Vess as Assistant Pastor. In less than three years we were out of room in our sanctuary, and we knew that it was time to build a new ministry center to accommodate Gods people.

We accredit this growth to the favor of God. He has blessed our implementation of discipling, equipping and training the saints. In the fall of 2004, we competed our new ministry center / sanctuary, and we are using the old sanctuary for children's church every Sunday morning, and teen church every Wednesday night.

Before we started digging the foundation for our new sanctuary, Prophet John Mark Pool from Baker, Louisiana, prophesied that springs of living water would flow from our new sanctuary; as we started digging the foundation we hit two springs in one corner, and an old hand dug well in the opposite corner. So there are actual springs of living water flowing from the very foundations of this ministry both physically and spiritually.
