Our Vision: Everyone working to support children

Whether the student is in elementary, middle, or high school, our vision is the same. We see children leaving our schools fueled by their dreams and empowered by knowledge and their ability to connect what they've learned to the world around them.

- We have built a school system dedicated to that vision, where education is student-centered and involves individuals taking personal responsibility for the roles they play.

- At the district level, We are committed to sharing our vision for student success, to providing the resources to support teaching and learning, and to providing assistance for continuous improvement.

- At the school administrator level, We are committed to creating a safe environment for teaching and learning, to setting challenging goals for students, to implementing an instructional program that works, and to respecting and protecting time between teachers and students.

- At the teacher level, We are committed to meeting the needs of the individual student, to providing an environment where learning can flourish, and to engaging parents as partners in the education of their children.

- In our vision, educators are not alone.

- We envision students committed to creating quality work, to taking responsibility for personal actions, and to gaining new skills, knowledge, and insight.

- We envision parents and caring adults committed to providing a safe and loving home, to offering praise and guidance, and to engaging with teachers and administrators about the needs of children.

- We envision a community of leaders and citizens committed to providing resources for a quality instructional program, to sharing knowledge, and to engaging with educators to support children.

Our goal is for all Nampa School District students to meet or exceed high academic standards by acquiring the knowledge and skills essential for success on state and national assessments, in post-secondary education, the world of work, and citizenship.

We are focused on strategic work in six areas to reach our goal:

1. Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum

2. Highly Effective Instruction

3. Professional Collaboration that Improves Student Learning

4. Focus on Results

5. Leadership that Improves Staff and Student Success

6. Support Systems that Promote Student Success and Community Pride
