Soaring into the future to create a better tomorrow." It is our mission to ensure all students acquire the knowledge and skills essential to achieve their full potential and become productive citizens.
About Us:
Medical Lake is a small but enthusiastic community surrounded by several lakes, located 16 miles southwest of Spokane and 4 miles south/southwest of Fairchild Air Force Base. Fishing, camping and bicycling are favorite outdoor pastimes.We have many fine churches, service and civic organizations, and a strong school system.
Medical Lake School District encompasses 80 square miles and serves the community of Medical Lake, its outlying areas and Fair child Air Force Base.
The District is recognized for its outstanding academic and co curricular programs, outstanding technology and has enjoyed excellent community support, cooperation and involvement as evidenced by passages of bonds to remodel the high school and to build an elementary school, as well as supporting the funding of schools with local tax dollars.
The Medical Lake School District is proud of its past and pleased with the quality of educational program offered today. More importantly, however, is its commitment to the future and constant improvement to meet the ever changing needs of its students. The Board of Directors and school district staff pledge to provide a safe, enthusiastic and positive learning environment as students are prepared to live, work and successfully meet the challenges of tomorrow.
The District is guided by a cohesive Board of Directors that is committed to creating an environment of community collaboration and an open candid dialogue with students, parents, staff members, business and other representative groups. The Board is also focused on a long range vision and is committed to completion of a strategic plan of action.
