About Us :
Purpose: The purpose of this organization shall be to engage in activities which: 1. Assist the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School in providing quality educational and social services to its students and parents; 2.Assist in the preservation of the history of IBSSS; and 3. Conduct annual meetings and schedule reunions as appropriate and to assist in accomplishing the two above-mentioned purposes.
The Education Committee of IBSAA is currently working on fundraising efforts to establish a scholarship award to be made available to any student in Iowa who is blind or visually impaired. Funds will also establish an achievement award for students who attend on campus services at IBSSS. For more information or to donate or assist in this process contact any of the officers listed below.
