Hudson Jewish Community Forum

We're a group of people from every part of the Jewish spectrum who are reviving a diverse and vibrant Jewish community throughout the Greater Hudson County area. Participants in this effort are Reform, Conservative, Orthodox, observant, non-observant, formerly-observant, increasingly-observant, American, Israeli and none-of-the-above.  We are singles, couples, families and "empty nesters."  Some of us have lived here all our lives, others are newcomers drawn by the neighborhoods, transport links, and other amenities that Hudson County offers.

Our message to you is simple: Whatever your own Jewish background or interests may be, there is a place for you in our community. This website is designed to help you find it. (We're constantly adding to it, so if there's something else you'd like to see, let us know)!

The best way to meet our friendly people is to visit any of our synagogues on Shabbat -- newcomers are always welcome and you'll find our long-time residents eager to tell you all about the community and its history.

The Hudson Jewish Community Forum meets every two months at a different synagogues or public place in Hudson County.  The Forum is a great place to share ideas, network, learn who else has moved to town and generally find out what's up.
