It is to see Jesus invade our streets, our home, our schools, and our workplaces. Our vision is to wins souls and make disciples and our goal is to make every believer a soul winner.

1. Win- We seek to add new people to the church through personal evangelism, weekend celebration, church services, Ultimate Christian Wrestling outreaches, concerts, etc.

2. Assimilate- Both new believers and new church members are "plugged in" to the church through the assimilation process.

3. Disciple- Train people to be followers of Christ and to share what they have experienced

4. Send- Encourage people to share their faith on a daily basis.

HARVEST CHURCH HISTORY:

Pastors Curtis and Patricia Parker are the founding pastors of Harvest Church. In June of 1990 while preaching a revival in Denton, Texas, the vision was given to Pastor Curtis to start a church without labels and where everyone would be welcomed, a place where people of all races and social status could come together and find relationship with Jesus Christ. After returning from Texas, Pastors Curtis and Patricia began making plans to plant a new church named Harvest, a non-denominational spirit-filled fellowship. On October 28, 1990 they held their first meeting in a small storefront in Danielsville. By November 1991, they had purchased 7 acres of land just south of Danielsville and built their first building. In October of 1999 Harvest purchased its present facility from Family Worship Center and relocated to 110 Moores Grove Road in Winterville. Many in the Athens area still do not realize that Harvest Church is an entirely different group than that of Family Worship Center, which is now located at the old Danielsville location. Harvest is a contemporary fun filled church where people from all walks of life come together to find a relationship with Jesus Christ and one another. It is a place where you will be challenged but not bored.
