Greater Cornwall Chamber Of Commerce

284 Main Street
845-534-7826

The object of the Greater Cornwall Chamber of Commerce (GCCC) shall be to promote the civic, economic, social welfare and progress of the people of the greater Cornwall area. All persons who sympathize with the object of the GCCC shall be eligible for membership.

A brief history of the GCCC (previously known as the Cornwall Business Association, Inc.) begins in the early 20th century. The exact date is unknown, but according to the amended By-Laws of December 10, 1928, the Cornwall Business Mens' Association, as it was originally named, was alive and well with meetings on the second Monday of each month. The annual dues were increased to "$5.00 per annum, payable annually in advance." On December 8, 1952, the Cornwall Business Mens' Association was incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation and the annual membership fee increased to $10.00 per year. In 1984 the Cornwall Business Mens' Assoc., Inc. amended the certification of incorporation for purposes of a name change to the Cornwall Business Association, Inc. Although the name and the times have certainly changed, the purpose of the Association remains solid.

As we begin the 21st Century, the Association takes great pride working on the following projects:

Annual Fall Festival
Flower Barrels that adorn Main Street
Holiday Tree Lighting
Decorative Seasonal Banners
Annual High School Scholarship Golf Tournament
