Mission Statement :

Gateway Baptist Church is a body of grace that seeks to glorify God through biblical preaching, evangelism and dicipleship in the Dawson County area to assist in fulfilling the Great Commission (home and abroad), bringing to maturity and equipping for service those whom God draws to Himself through Christ.

A Brief History :

Gateway Baptist Church is committed to holding up God's truth and preaching God's message to our community and beyond.

In May of 1996 Gateway Church was launched with a desire to be faithful to Christ and His Word. We were born out of prayer and brought together with purpose. From a few men praying together, to an enthusiastic first service at a small daycare center, to our first membership Sunday with 37 members and two baptisms in the cool waters of Lake Lanier, to Steppin' Stones Day Care, to building our building on Dawson Forest Road... we have been worshipping the Lord, teaching His Word, and serving His people.

From the first day it has been our commitment to not only teach the Scripture, but live the Scripture.
