Frederick Leighton Elementary School is committed to providing each student with a safe environment that promotes a positive self-concept, individuality and good citizenship, while encouraging responsibility and a lifelong love of learning.

Frederick Leighton Elementary School, one of five elementary schools in the Oswego City School District. In Grades K through 6, Leighton serves approximately 500 students and their families with 34 full-time and 12 part-time professional staff. Our school has a reputation for quality instruction and for the integration of many students with a wide range of disabilities. Parents and staff members participate in teams, committees, and sub-committees in a collaborative format in the continuous school improvement process.
