About Us:

We believe that Jesus Christ is the head of First Southern Baptist Church. He is also the head of all believers everywhere. Our church is made up of members that have professed their faith (belief) in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord, and have obeyed Christ by being baptized. Although our church is a cooperating member of both a larger association and denomination of churches, we are only under the authority of God and the church ultimately answers to Him alone. Our church exists so that our members may fulfill the purposes for which God created them
