Mission

We, God's people of the First Presbyterian Church of Batavia, NY, seek God's leadership in the spirit of love, joy and friendship. We are a family steeped in tradition and richly blessed with a proud heritage as reflected in the historical stone structure on the corner of Main and Liberty.

While proud of our nearly 200 years as a family of God, we look to a future of many challenges and abundant opportunities. We open our hearts and doors for all to join us in seeking God's grace and love through Jesus Christ as we discover and discern God's vision for us individually and as a faith community.

Through worship, music, prayer, youth ministry, education, mission and fellowship, we strive to live out God's purpose as we grow in the love of Jesus Christ.
