Emanuel's Pastor, Reverend Paul Egensteiner, leads the congregation each week in worship and with sermons that call on individual self reflection and challenge personal and spiritual growth. We celebrate an "open communion" which means all baptized Christians are invited to receive the gifts of communion. All others are invited to join us at the altar to receive a blessing.

Emanuel is a member of the Metropolitan New York Synod of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America). We sponsor a large variety of social ministries, are home to a highly talented organist/choir director, and are proud of our hand bell choirs (their music is truly heavenly). Emanuel's youth groups are active within both our church and local communities.
