Welcome to Carteret Middle School!

The success of the middle school depends on the collaboration of all stakeholders. Students, teachers, administrators, aides, custodians, support staff, parents and community members all play an important role in supporting student achievement and creating a safe, secure environment conducive to learning.

Students will be held in high academic standards, and will be expected to be active participants in their own learning. They will be encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities, clubs and sports. Students will be expected to accept responsibility for their behavior both in the classroom and on the playing field.

Please share in our school’s success and the future for our world by helping your child to be on time to school daily, providing time and encouragement for completing home assignments, modeling respectful and appropriate behavior, joining our Family School Organization, and promoting education in your home. Collaborative communication, provisions for a safe and healthy school and a curriculum rich in quality academics with high achievement by all, will make Carteret Middle School a winning team.
