Canandaigua Art and Music Festival

Canandaigua Art and Music Festival
115 South Main Street

About Us:

For 28 years, visitors have been attracted to Historic Downtown Canandaigua for the annual art festival that takes place on the wide sidewalks of Main Street. The festival showcases talented artists in many different mediums. Over the years, the festival has grown, adding music, children’s activities and food trucks. The festival is a key project of the Canandaigua BID.

Each year, our festival brings new artists in almost every category, including ceramics, pottery, jewelry, woodworking, leather, fiber, glass, photography, and gourmet foods. Artists enter the festival through a jury process and set up along Main Street to display their wares. The festival also features young artists, giving student artists the chance to display and sell their handiwork.

Musical acts will play at the Commons Park Stage all three days of the festival. Commons Park Stage is located on the corner of Coach and Main. Performances range from Bluegrass, Rock & Roll to Jazz, and singer-songwriter Acoustics that feature incredible talent from the Upstate New York region.

With the festival’s wide variety of food vendors, you’ll be sure to find all of your festival favorites including fried dough, kettle corn, fresh-squeezed lemonade, fruit smoothies and fried Oreos. In addition to traditional festival fare, we also have various food trucks join us throughout the three days of the festival.
