About Us:

Brazos Elementary School is located at 9810 Kibler in Orchard, Texas.  There are 400 students on the campus.  Its warm, friendly, family-oriented atmosphere is supported by parental and community involvement.

Brazos Elementary is proud of its low student/teacher ratio, the school nurse and her new facilities, the librarian and the beautiful new library, and our counselor.  There are also teachers for art, music, physical education, speech, technology, and special education .

The technology program addresses all the state mandated objectives.  The students learn applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and how to use the Internet.  In addition the students work on keyboarding skills daily. Technology is integrated into the curriculum so that students successfully use it as a tool to enhance and complete assignments in all areas of instruction.  The technology is supported by two computer labs with a T-1 line connection to the Internet.  There are also computers in each room so each classroom can use Internet resources throughout the curriculum.
