Mission Statement

Belmont Community School District is vitally interested in the educational and social development of the children of our community. This development is the joint responsibility of the home, school, and community. Our youth must be instructed and guided in the process of "growing up". The process of growing up doesn't mean growing older. The home, school, and community must all contribute to the educational process of our youth. The school of today is attempting to meet the challenge of adult life by providing such instruction and guidance as will develop well-trained, socially adjusted individuals who will be able to think clearly, act cooperatively, and live democratically and productively in a modern society.
