The Afro-Semitic Experience - Our 25th Anniversary this Friday

Arts and Entertainment

January 9, 2023

Dear Friends,

This weekend the Afro-Semitic Experience will be celebrating our 25th anniversary. We’re going to be in Grand Rapids, Michigan where we will be giving educational workshops, performing in concert on Saturday night and participating in a Dr. Martin Luther King Service on Friday night.

As the first month of our 25th year continues we will be making music in New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. If you want to learn more, our calendar is below.

We hope you will join us for one of these events. Word of mouth continues to be our best form of announcing our performances. If you know anyone who may be interested in catching us, please forward our dates to them.

We hope we'll see you at one of these events.

Àse and Shalom,

Alvin, David, Jocelyn, Saskia, Will, and Warren

We merge our musical roots, Jewish and Afro-diasporic melodies and grooves, combining the core concepts of àse and shalom - power, action, unity, and peace.
