The Philharmonic Says Farewell To One Of It's Own

It is with bittersweetness that we announce that Event Coordinator and audience favorite, Kordell Hemphill, will be leaving the Philharmonic (cue the violins).

However! He isn't going far. Kordell has accepted the role of Event Services Coordinator with our longtime friends at Converse University! So many of you will still see his smiling, friendly face at box office.

Please join us in wishing Kordell the absolute best in his new position!

Seat Renewal Deadline Is May 31st

Whether you're a returning subscriber or newcomer, there's something for everyone across our four main concert series!

For the 24/25 Season, our goal was to curate a series of concerts that resonated with the diverse tapestry of Spartanburg. Whether it be a narrative, a notable figure, a musical composition, a historical moment, a cultural tradition, or an emotional resonance, we aimed to encapsulate the essence of Spartanburg through music. Our lineup reflects this ambition, featuring a rich variety including Baroque, Bluegrass, Blues, a whimsical "Game Knight" themed performance inspired by video games and movies, a festive Holiday special, a collaborative event with the library and planetarium, Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique, and an original composition incorporating texts from local writers such as Peter B. Kay, among others. We take pride in this season's offerings and believe they will resonate deeply with the community of Spartanburg, inviting everyone to join us in celebration.
