The Shullsburg Fourth of July Celebration is hosted by six (6) local organizations with community in mind.

July 2, 2022:

3 PM - Midnight: HomeTown ThrowDown Kickoff Party - Badger Park

Shullsburg's HomeTown ThrowDown Party starts July 2 at 4pm with no gate fees. Bring your friends, and grab dinner at one of our Food Trucks. Music will start at 5pm with the Leftovers followed by the Spazmatics! All the awesome sounds, styles, and way cool dance steps from the 1980's decade we'd love to forget. Complete with skinny ties, Brill Creamed hair, and horn-rimmed glasses, the Spazmatics.

July 3, 2022:

1 PM - 6 PM: HomeTown ThrowDown BBQ Competition - Badger Park

Are you a grill master? This event is for you! You and your team will compete for a grand prize of $500 and bragging rights! There will be 4 Meat Judging Categories: Pork, Beef Ribs, Pasty and People's Choice. Be Prepared for anything and bring anything you need, including your grill! $100 entry fee per team, deadline to enter is June 15th. Wanna Party?  Our HomeTown ThrowDown is the place to do just that!  We have great music on our stage, all the cold beverages you'd like to drink and the best Burgers in Badger Park! Musical Performances by Kansas Boy Logan Mize and ACM Nominated Mitchell Tenpenny singer, songwriter, producer and performer. His current radio single "Truth About You" and his new album release "The Low Light Sessions EP".

July 4, 2022:

10:30 AM - 12:30 PM: 4th of July Parade - Main Street

Have you been to the Shullsburg 4th of July Parade? Why not? Don’t miss the parade down Water Street, complete with historical portrayers in costume, festive floats, and marching bands. Leave the cooking to us, with food stands offering everything from cheese curds to brats and brews. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs you will want to stay for the day to enjoy carnival rides in the park.

7:00 PM: Pie Auction

Everyone loves a good home cooked pie! Pie Auction in Badger Park all proceeds go towards the Fireworks display.

Fireworks:

Be sure to close out the evening with Fireworks in Badger Park "one of the best fireworks displays in Wisconsin." Badger Park's unique features offer the most intimate show you'll experience. Once you experience Shullsburg for Fireworks you'll not want to go any place else.
