St. Johns Technical High School is hosting the first-ever Restaurant Wars. This fundraising event features 18 students from the Academy of Culinary Arts in two teams for technical knowledge and skills competition in the Back of the House and Front of the House. Each team will have three professional chef leaders, one for savory, one for sweet and one front-of-house director. Each team will have one hour to cook, prepare and plate tasting plates of an appetizer, entrée, and dessert to paid guests. In addition, the teams will provide a fully composed plate of each dish to three judges. The Front of the House students are responsible for decorating their display table along with a signature drink (non-alcoholic) and garnish. Don't miss this fun and tasty event and support the culinary academy at SJTHS!
