Traditional Harvest Homecoming Baking Contest returns this year and is being hosted by Sweet Stuff Bakery in New Albany, IN
Harvest Homecoming Hikes - 9am & 11am
Join The Nature Conservancy for a peaceful walk in the woods at Campbell-Woodland Nature Trail
New Albany Track Club Harvest Homecoming Kids Run - 1:30 PM at Parking Lot Behind Carnegie Center
Harvest Homecoming Opening Ceremonies - 2:30 PM
The official kick off to the 2022 Harvest Homecoming Festival complete with music, full parade narration and broadcast (WNAS), special guests, various food vendors, and the best seats in the house for the annual Harvest Homecoming Parade.
Harvest Homecoming Parade - 3:00 PM at Vincennes, Market & Bank Streets
Come experience over-the-top floats, vintage cars and loud bands. Get a front row seat to all the action!

Pumpkin Decorating Contest - 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at City Square - Farmers Market
Possibly the oldest annual event at the Harvest Homecoming. Group or individually prepared pumpkins may be painted or decorated with any material trying to win one of several categories and a Grand Champion title.
Drop-off: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm. Judging starts at 3:30 pm
Winners announced: 4:00 pm
Annual Festival event for kids through adults where talent meets fun pumpkin decorating with community celebration and achievement. All pumpkins are to be pre-decorated, there is no active painting or decorating onsite.

Kids’ Dog Show - 5:00 PM at New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater
Super fun event to participate and watch. Open to kids ages 3-13 years old. All animals must be at least 6 months old, have all shots, and be on a leash or contained.
Last year and this year, the Kids Dog Show has also been supported by the Estate of Lee and Betty Mook (parents of Wini Moyen) who were long time volunteers with the Harvest Homecoming and felt this was their favorite event each year. Thanks to Wini for this arrangement and your long time support of the festival as well.
Kids Dog show is open to kids ages 3-13 years old. Dogs must be at least 6 months old, have all shots, and be on a leash or contained

Purdue Pumpkin Chunking Event - 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM at Purdue Polytechnic New Albany
Purdue Polytechnic New Albany will host Purdue Pumpkin Chunking on Tuesday, as part of Harvest Homecoming. We're so excited to welcome you back for a friendly competition launching 7 to 10 lb. pumpkins at a target 100 yards away! Signup to compete or BRING a chair and come watch.

Harvest Homecoming Senior Bingo with Charlestown Place at New Albany (an Exceptional Living Center location)
BINGO - games for the Senior Living Community and their families. - 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Senior Bingo at Charlestown Place
BINGO - games for the Senior Living Community and their families.
Prizes awarded to winners. Refreshments will be served and lots of fun will be had by all. Volunteers wishing to attend and help the residents play Senior Bingo may show up and go to the activities room.

Grab your ticket and dare to take a thrilling stroll through The Grand's Haunted Theatre.
Waiver to sign and $20 per person admission collected at the entry line.

Grab your blankets, chairs and the whole family for our kid-friendly movie night at the New Albany Riverfront Amphitheater.
Harvest Homecoming Blind Draw Cornhole Tournament - 7:30 PM at Knights of Columbus
Random draw for partners, bring a whole group, try your chances at Cornhole.
Cost: $20 a person entry at the door.

We should still have a limited market available at the Farmers Market area from 8am - Noon. Farmers should enter/exit using the approved alley routing provided and should show special parking pass.
Harvest Homecoming Car & Bike Show - 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at New Albany Riverfront
Open to any type of stock, classic, show or race car, antique vehicles, trucks, motorcycle, any model, any year.
Big Wheel Race - 9:15 AM at Samtec Cares Stage, State St & E Market St
For ages 3 to 8. Bring your own Big Wheel
Baby Crawl - 9:15 AM at Samtec Cares Stage, E Market St & State St
Eligible babies between 6 and 13 months (no walking babies).

Decorate your home based on Festival theme with entry deadline at noon on Sat 10/14.
Little Miss/Little Master Pageant - 1:00 PM at First Financial Stage, Market & State Streets
The Little Miss & Master Pageants are a fundraiser for the Miss Harvest Homecoming Scholarship Pageant. Contestants should come dressed in their best fall fashions and will be asked an on-stage question.
Kids’ Day in the Park - 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Bicentennial Park
Free Admission! Hands on activities, displays, and interaction for kids through the 6th grade. Must be accompanied by an adult.
Schmitt Furniture's 87th Birthday Bash with Harvest - 6:30 PM – 11:30 PM at New Albany Riverfront Amphitheather Homecoming - Saturday Night on the Riverfront
Join us at the amphitheater for a music-filled night with your favorite hits from two of southern Indiana’s favorite bands (The Skinny and Juice Box Heroes)
HHC Cornhole Tournament - 7:30 PM at Knights of Columbus
Bring your own partner tournament for fun and friendly competition.
Cost: $50 a team entry at the door.
