Come celebrate the grand seasonal opening of our Barnyard Pumpkin Patch during Harbes Annual Pumpkin Festival, a two-day weekend salute to Fall at our Mattituck Farm!

We have two fabulous pumpkin patches! Our beautiful 7-acre “u-pick” Barnyard Pumpkin Patch offers many varieties of on-the-vine pumpkins and gourds to choose from. The Barnyard Pumpkin Patch is adjacent to Harbes Barnyard Adventure and features its own parking area (please GPS 25 Sound Avenue, Mattituck). The parking area allows easy access to the Barnyard Adventure by way of our Barnyard west entrance. Our South U-Pick Pumpkin Patch, located across from our farmstand on the south side of Sound Avenue, offers 8-acres of on-the-vine pumpkin picking, delicious Fall concession foods, a Wizard of Oz themed corn maze, a hayride, Harbes Vineyard wines, and live music.

While you’re here you can visit Harbes Barnyard Adventure for hours of family fun! Harbes Barnyard Adventure is an 8-acre, family-friendly experience for all ages. The standard Barnyard admission includes our famous pig races or you can upgrade to our combo deal and also enjoy a Musical Hayride tour of our 100-acre farm! There are farm animals, our very popular “Jumbo Jumpers” bounce pillows, a Sports Zone with baseball, football, and basketball tossing games, “Lil’ Farmers PlayLand” filled with lots of fun activities for preschoolers, a trike track, obstacle course, hedge maze, our musical animatronic chicken show, and much more. We’ll also be debuting some exciting new attractions for 2023!

There’ll be FREE LIVE MUSIC from 1-5pm in our courtyard/picnic area at the main area of the farm AND at our South U-Pick Pumpkin Patch both days! Saturday, popular Long Island singer/songwriter Bryan Gallo takes the stage in our courtyard/picnic area. Whenever Bryan sets up his guitar and harmonica he’s sure to entertain! Sunday, we welcome singer/guitarist Deanna Hudson. Join Deanna as she performs pop, classic rock, and upbeat folk in an acoustic style.

Harbes Wine Barn, located behind the main farmstand, is a wine lover’s dream! In our 100-year-old renovated potato barn, we offer tastings of our award-winning wines and wine by the glass or bottle. There’s a rustic ambiance inside or you can enjoy your wine outside under an umbrella on our patio. Guests can also enjoy their wine in the courtyard while being entertained by our live musical performer.

There’s always lots to do and see at Harbes Family Farm, so come and celebrate pumpkin season at our Pumpkin Festival!
