From: Gore Mountain Harvest Fest

Fall Scenic Skyrides, Live Music, Craft Show, Entertainment and Recreational Activities!

Scenic Skyrides During Peak Foliage:

Our four peaks are illuminated with a colorful autumn showcase, providing prime leaf-peeping opportunities. While this time of year does get us excited for winter, there’s plenty of foliage and activities to enjoy on the mountain before the snowmakers get to work. It’s the perfect day to welcome fall and get some fresh Adirondack air with lots of vendors, games, family activities, and live music!

Join us for scenic skyrides, hiking, mountain biking, and disc golf. Choose your skyride aboard either the open-air Adirondack Express or the enclosed Northwoods Gondola. A short hike between the lifts offers the unique opportunity to experience both rides with the same ticket. Take along one of our scavenger hunt game cards or participate in a fun hiking challenge. The last ride up on either lift is at 3:45pm. If you have a downhill biking ticket, please bring your mountain bike up on the Adirondack Express open-air chairlift.

Please note: If you bought your skyride ticket online, do not take your QR code to the lift. Online tickets must be exchanged for SKI3 skyride cards printed at the ticket windows or in Guest Services.

Local Adirondack Vendors:

The final craft show in our Mountain Master Craft Series meets today- slopeside shopping features over 40 talented artisans spread across the base area. Browse handcrafted items such as original paintings and photography, furniture made of locally reclaimed wood, unique handmade jewelry, ceramics and pottery, all-natural bath & beauty essentials, primitives & Adirondack decor, NY-made wines and spirits, specialty food items, and more.

Food, Drinks and More!

Guests can find hearty, fall-inspired menus from the Open Pit Grille on the sundeck and indoors at the Base Lodge Food Court. For adults, a full bar will be available in the Tannery Pub and cold brews will be served at satellite bars around the base area. Stop by our Retail Shop for Gore gifts, souvenirs, and logo wear- check out the sale racks for some amazing deals on summer merchandise and winter outerwear to help us make room for new gear and apparel!

The Wildlife Institute of Eastern NY presents “Silent Wings,” live educational birds of prey program featuring several raptors!

Dancing Witches: On Saturday, the witches will perform at 12:30 in the Base Area putting a snow spell over the mountain for a wonderful snowy season ahead!
