HISTORY MADE!

City's First Full-Time Fire Department Sworn-In

Twelve firefighters made history at the latest City Council meeting on Mon., Aug. 21, as they were officially sworn in as the city's first full-time firefighters in a badge pinning ceremony. They work out of Fire Station 1 and provide 24/7 emergency service to the community.

All other duties as assigned: A young Osprey got its foot caught and was trapped hanging upside down hanging from its nest. Thanks to a collaborative community effort, he was rescued, but unfortunately was later euthanized due to his injuries.


Ponds Park renovations and construction are underway. the new playground installation has already started and is well ahead of schedule.
