From: City of Douglasville Parks & Recreation

July is nationally recognized as Parks and Recreation Month, and this year the theme was We Rise Up for Parks and Recreation. We are committed to building strong, vibrant, and resilient communities through the power of parks and recreation. Our team provides a variety of programs and events to service all! Click here for a recap of our July events which included activities for youth, teens, Therapeutic Recreation (TR), and active seniors. We are proud to serve a great community and we appreciate all the support we receive.

Celebrating our Inaugural Counselor in Training Program

This year we introduced our first Counselor in Training program. This 7 week on the job training and education opportunity prepared teens ages 13-15 for the workforce. We look forward to providing more diverse programs for teens and young adults.
