BRIDGES LIBRARY SYSTEM LAUNCHES ‘LIBRARY PASSPORT CHALLENGE’ JUNE 1

Explore Library Locations for Summer Fun and Chance to Win Prizes

(WAUKESHA, Wis) – The Bridges Library System is pleased to announce the new Library Passport Challenge event happening at public libraries in Jefferson and Waukesha counties throughout the summer. Residents and visitors are invited to explore all 24 library locations to collect passport stamps for a chance to win prizes and discover their libraries. The program will run June 1 through August 31, 2023.

“We are thrilled to be offering this fun, collaborative library event,” said Karol Kennedy, director of the Bridges Library System. “We encourage people to go experience the unique features of each library and community while filling up their passports.”

To begin the Library Passport Challenge, explorers can pick up a passport at any Bridges library location and have it stamped. Participants can visit more libraries to collect more stamps to earn entries into the prize drawings. Eight passport library stamps earn participants one entry, sixteen library stamps earn another entry, and all twenty-four library stamps earn an additional two entries. That’s four total chances to win a prize basket filled with library swag, gift cards and experiences.

An active Bridges Library System library card is required to be eligible to win. A library cards are free and give borrowing privileges at all 24 libraries and access to shared digital collections. The last day to get passports stamped and turn in any prize drawing entry forms is August 31. Checking out items is not required, but always encouraged. Only one winner per household will be selected.
