August 18, 2023

3:00pm-5:00pm: Cowboy Paint and Sip at Grand Lake Center
Western Themed Painting class at the Grand Lake Center with local artist Edie Dafoe. Beverages and snacks included. Register ahead of time as space is limited. Registration is open! Scroll to the bottom of the page to register. Cost is $50/person

3:00pm-5:00pm: Western Line Dancing at Grand Lake Center
Get your cowboy boots ready and join instructor Dinah for a boot-scootin' good time in her country western dance class! Register ahead of time as space is limited. Registration is open! Scroll to the bottom of the page to register. Cost is $20/person

8:00pm-10:30pm: Outdoor Movie Night sponsored by Lupine village at Town Park
Set up blankets and Watch a movie at the town park. This 90s classic will thrill all ages while we root for three family pets as they venture through mountains to return home! Fresh popcorn, and drinks available by donation. Entry is free.

8:00am: Buffalo Days 5k Race brought to you by the Grand Lake Center at Grand Lake Center
Start at the Grand Lake Center to run a 5k loop into town. Register with the Grand Lake Center here.

10:00am-3:00pm: Cowboy Carnival Games sponsored by Ted's place at Town Park
Head down to town park and play a round on the giant corn hole set, take a chance on the bull ride, challenge your friends on the timed hanging game, or enjoy giant board games! $5/ticket for the bull ride, giant corn hole and hanging game. Giant board games are free and first come first serve.

10:00am-3:00pm: Corn Hole Tournament sponsored by Mountain Lakes Lodge at Town Park
Register and compete for your own Buffalo Days custom board set! Courts set up at town park. Register ahead of time as space is limited. Registration is open! Scroll to the bottom of the page to register. $50/team
-This is a two person team, double elimination tournament
-Winners receive $200 cash and custom corn hole set
-Runners Up receive $100 cash
-Winners will be congratulated at the music festival at 4:45pm

10:00am-12:00pm: Pie Baking Contest at Town Park
Turn in your signature dessert pie and enter to win prizes and bragging rights. Register ahead of time as space is limited. Registration is open! Scroll to the bottom of the page to register. Cost to enter is $10.
-Bakers get FREE ($10 value) admission to the Lakefront Music Festival
-No Store Bought Pies
-Bakers must provide one entry form per HOMEMADE pie, dessert pies only.
-No pies that require refrigeration. Pies must be able to sit out for two hours before being judged.
-Pies may be single or double crusted.
-Winners will be announce at the Music Festival at 4:45pm

2:30pm: Pie Eating Contest at Town Park
Come cheer on the Grand County Sheriffs as they compete against each other to raise funds for local nonprofits such as Grand Beginnings, Chris' Water Rescue, Grand County Search and Rescue, and Grand County Pet Pals. 10:00am-3:00pm: Taking Step's Jail Photo Booth
Take memorable western photos in our old town jail on Grand Ave. Hosted by Taking Steps for Cancer.

4:00pm: Buffalo BBQ sponsored by Sagebrush BBQ & Grill at Lakefront Park
Sagebrush BBQ is cooking up a menu of real buffalo BBQ to enjoy during the music festival!

4:00pm-9:00pm: Lakefront Music Festival sponsored by Sagebrush BBQ & Grill at Lakefront Park
4:00-4:45 Reed Alleman
5:00–6:30 Country Music Project
7:00-9:00 Lance Rogers
Cost: $10 Cover, Rain or Shine! 12 and under free

9:00pm: Fireworks Display over Grand Lake!
Thanks Town of Grand Lake, we will enjoy a 20 minute fireworks display over the lake during Lance Roger's headline performance!

August 20, 2023

9:00am: Cowboy Church
Gather at the gazebo to celebrate and rejoice the cowboy way with an eclectic mix of music, poetry, and humor.

12:30pm: Buffalo Days Cowpoke Parade
Follow the herd down Grand Avenue with floats, horses, costumes, and dressed-up pups! Anyone can join in on the parade – please fill and return this application to the Chamber if you'd like to be a part of the parade!

1:30pm: Water Zone at Gene Stover Park
After the parade, head down to Lakefront Park for some water fun area put on by Grand Lake Fire!
