THE LEGACY

Idalee Hutson-Fish, Founder and Director of The Dance Center of Walla Walla has created a lasting impact on the community through her years of dedication to the performing arts community in Walla Walla, WA. In 1976, the first performance at the Fort Walla Walla Amphitheater brought her here to perform. Since, she has taught at Whitman College, choreographed, directed, and taught thousands of students the gift of dance.

She has the beautiful ability to inspire the soul as well as the body through the art of ballet. We want our dancers to “dance from inside out
