ABOUT BYRON KENNEDY: Encouraged by friends and colleagues to leave a highly successful career in the music business to pursue his gift of comedy, Byron Kennedy’s irreverent, observational style and natural storytelling immediately gelled with audiences across the nation, moving him quickly from open mic nights, to headlining gigs across the country, to his own residency in Las Vegas,  The explanation for his fast start is exceedingly simple: "I f@#*ing hate meetings." Fueled by his success in Vegas – arguably the toughest city in the world for comedy – Kennedy headlined the Breakout Artist Comedy Series at the famed Caroline’s in NYC, & headlined his first sold out show at Zanies in Nashville.  He signed a comedy album deal with BMG/Broken Bow – the record label he previously hated being in meetings for as an executive, & was offered his very own 6 month residency back in Vegas for the launch of the OYO’s Stand Up & Rock Comedy Club.

Byron most recently wrapped his first television special called “NashVegas.”,  which premiered to rave reviews at the Laugh After Dark Comedy Fest in Las Vegas.  Byron is putting finishing touches on his debut NashVegas album, which will include his newest single, “Go F*@k Your Self(ie),” a tongue-in-cheek, comedic take on how selfies have infiltrated the internet and candidly highlights the social media-engrossed world we live in.
